Event Recap: Taste of Georgetown

This year, The Taste of Georgetown didn’t seem like its old self. There were many missing elements that made it a overwhelming a great event to attend.  Entertainment was relegated to a dj, who was ok, but it felt more like background noise than anything else. The lack of seating was just criminal, making it hard to eat some dishes. While there was some winners (The Alex Craft Cocktail Cellar & Speakeasy, TAIM, etc.), it felt more like a dessert tasting. The amount of sweets clearly outweighed the substantial food offerings. Hopefully next year will bring in more of the old favorites and some new ones!
